BROOKINGS – The Bobcats played one of their most complete games of the season and controlled the second half en route to a 45-35 Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ basketball victory over Huron on Saturday evening at Bob Jostad Gymnasium.
The Bobcats outscored the Tigers 21-12 in the second half to snap a six-game losing skid and improve to 2-10 (2-6 ESD) on the season.
“We talked to (the team) and hopefully this is a turning point,” Brookings assistant coach Jason Smidt said. “We even said it at halftime; we said, ‘Let’s make this a turning point in our season.’
