BROOKINGS – Ten different Sioux Falls O’Gorman players scored and the Lady Knights pulled away in the second half for a 49-32 nonconference victory over Brookings on Tuesday night at Bob Jostad Gymnasium.
O’Gorman tallied the first six points of the third quarter to take a 32-22 lead with 5:22 to go. Jessica Mieras scored four of her team-high 12 points and Claire Howes added a bucket during the spurt.
A Kelsey Parker bucket pulled the Bobcats within 32-24 with 4:33 left but that was as close as Brookings would get the rest of the way.
