Tuesday’s first round of the boys’ Dakota Valley Conference Tournament went pretty much as expected, although Colman-Egan pulled off what could be considered a small upset as the Hawks surprised Estelline in Elkton.
The other games didn’t turn out to be too close as Deubrook Area, Arlington and Elkton-Lake Benton posted first-round wins.
The tournament continues on Friday in Arlington and Elkton, and concludes on Saturday in White.
