BROOKINGS – The host Bobcats edged Sioux Falls O’Gorman for the team title in the Brookings gymnastics triangular on Monday night at Bob Jostad Gymnasium.

The ‘Cats finished with 136.55 team points. The Lady Knights totaled 135.95 and Sioux Falls Lincoln was third at 131.75.

Patriot senior Sydney Torgrude won the all-around with a 36.05 total. She was victorious on the the bars (9.0) and beam (9.55), was third on the floor (9.05) and tied for ninth on the vault (8.45).

O’Gorman junior Abby Thuringer was second at 35.95. She won the vault with a 9.2.

Brookings junior Alexis Gannon was third in the all-around with a 34.4 total, just ahead of teammate Holly Fahrenwald. The eighth-grader was fourth with a score of 34.35.
