Warriors drop Bobcats, 50-21

SIOUX FALLS – Top-rated Sioux Falls Washington limited the Bobcats to single-digit scoring in each quarter to post a 50-29 girls’ basketball win over Brookings on Tuesday at Washington High School.

The Warriors, led by Mic Mayer’s 10 points, improved to 9-0 on the season while the ‘Cats fell to 1-7.

Washington, which shot 46 percent from the field for the game, led 14-6 after the first eight minutes and 27-15 at halftime. The Warriors increased their lead to 40-21 after three quarters as they cruised to the 21-point victory.
