• Brookings wins three against West River foe

BROOKINGS – The Rangers swept a South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association series with the Rushmore Thunder over the weekend, outscoring the visitors a combined 24-3 in three victories.

Brookings won 6-0 on Friday; 11-2 on Saturday; and 7-1 on Sunday.

The Rangers (4-1) have a weekend off from league competition, before playing host to the Mitchell Marlins on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. and the Aberdeen Cougars on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Rushmore fell to 0-3 with the losses.
