GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The South Dakota State men’s swimming and diving team won 12 of 16 events to remain unbeaten in dual competition with a 183-117 victory over host North Dakota on Saturday.
The Jackrabbits, who upped their record to 3-0, received two victories each from Kyle Ochsner and Garth Wadsworth. Ochsner won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 43.14 seconds and later turned in a first-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a winning time of 4:42.19. Ochsner also swam on the Jackrabbits’ winning 200 medley relay, teaming with Alex McLain, John Overman and Ben Bolinske to open the meet with a winning time of 1:35.28.
