BROOKINGS – The Brookings Rangers and Oahe Capitals split a pair of South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association games over the weekend at Larson Ice Center.
Brookings won Saturday’s matchup, 7-3; before Oahe rallied for a split with a 3-2 win on Sunday, marking the Rangers’ first regular-season league loss since the 2010-11 season.
Both teams are now 1-1 in SDAHA play.
Brookings plays host to the Rushmore Thunder for a pair of matches this weekend – Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
