BROOKINGS – The Blizzard earned a weekend split with the Coulee Region Chill after posting a 4-2 victory during a North American Hockey League Central Division matchup on Saturday at Larson Ice Center.
The visitors had a quick answer for Brookings’ first two goals, until Micah Ranum netted the game-winner with 8:57 remaining in the third period. Bryce Gustafson and Jordan Stejskal assisted on the goal.
Thomas Williams added an empty-netter – his second goal of the game – to provide for the final margin with 10 seconds left.
