Post 230 won by the scores of 15-4 and 14-4, as both games ended after five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

In the opener, Post 230 scored eight runs in the bottom of the first to overcome an early deficit and take an 8-2 lead. Aurora pushed the margin to 9-2 after two innings, before scoring six in the fourth to go up 15-4.

Aaron Held led the way in the victory. He threw a complete game, allowing just three hits while striking out 10 and walking two. At the plate, Held went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double, and four RBIs.
