WILMINGTON, N.C., South Dakota State sophomore Grant Smith of the Jackrabbits men's golf team finished tied for 14th Monday at the 2015 Seahawk Intercollegiate hosted by The University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
SDSU placed 14th after shooting a 949 (316-307-326). Campbell University won the event, shooting an 880 (302-282) on the par-72, 6,916-yard Ocean and Marsh courses.

Area youth wrestlers wrap up their season at the Swiftel Center

BROOKINGS, Area youth wrestlers capped off their season with a solid showing at the AAU State Wrestling Tournament held at the Swiftel Center over the weekend.
Thirteen of the 19 Brookings wrestlers that qualified for the state tournament finished in the top eight over the weekend to garner hardware, led by second-place winners Aidan Aure, Nolan Archer and Luke Rasmussen.
