• Word of mouth is beginning to be all Rutland School District needs to attract students
“Naively enough, I guess it never occurred to us, when we went down this road, that this would be so divisive.”
Carl Fahrenwald, superintendent of Rutland School District, is addressing the idea of “recruiting” as a way to bring new students to his school. He doesn’t like the term, but embraces the idea of schools advertising their strengths and letting families choose where their kids will attend.
