A new business ‘for the birds’

BROOKINGS – When Joanne Kinnaman was looking to get back in business after a break from her former Brookings store, the Top Dog Pet Care Center, she thought of one of her favorite animals – birds.

Kinnaman keeps finches and diamond doves at her home and knows others who are partial to feathered pets.

“Everyone that I know that has birds has to drive all the way to Sioux Falls to get anything like this,” she said.
