8:23 a.m. Suicide attempt; members of EMS and the Brookings PD responded to the 300 block of Second Avenue for a medical emergency. The subject was later transported to the Brookings Emergency Department for evaluation.
9:01 a.m. Theft of lost or mislaid property, less than $100
1:12 p.m. Dispatch notified Officer Doremus of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Second Street. A state accident report was completed.
5:19 p.m. Brookings Police investigated an elderly abuse incident in the 2300 block of Sixth Street.
6:34 p.m. Officers took a report of fraudulent activity. A report was generated.
7:30 p.m. Brookings Police investigated a theft in the 2300 block of Sixth Street.
10:21 p.m. The Brookings Police Department issued a Missing Endangered Persons report for an elderly male last seen in Brookings. The individual was later located safely, and the report was canceled.
