  • 12:30 p.m. Brookings police received a call about a possible trespass. A report was taken.
  • 1:12 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received a call about a non-injury accident between two vehicles. An accident report was taken.
  • 1:16 p.m. Brookings police officers took a report of a two-vehicle non-injury crash.
  • 2:08 p.m. Brookings police officers took a report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
  • 2:11 p.m. Officers received a call about a non-injury accident between two vehicles. An accident report was taken.
  • 10:49 p.m. Officers responded to the 2200 Block of Sixth Street for a report of counterfeit money. A report was generated.

Thursday, Feb. 15

  • 10:29 a.m. Police were advised of some possible abuse.
  • 1:03 p.m. Brookings police officers responded to Walmart for found drugs. The drugs were seized and destroyed.
  • 1:56 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to an accident hit and run. A report was taken.
  • 3:49 p.m. Brookings police officers responded to an assault. One individual was arrested.

Friday, Feb. 16

  • 12:08 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a juvenile report.
  • 1:45 p.m. Brookings Police were advised of some possible abuse.
  • 8:49 p.m. Officers took a report regarding a past incident. The incident is under investigation.

  • 1:21 a.m. Officers made a traffic stop. A citation was issued for underage consumption of tobacco.
  • 9:57 a.m. An officer responded to the 200 block of Medary Avenue South for a report of intentional damage.
  • 11:33 a.m. An officer responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1000 block of Southland Lane.
  • 4:59 p.m. An officer responded to the 2400 block of Yorkshire Drive to investigate an alleged drug offense.

Monday, Feb. 19

  • 5:18 p.m. Brookings Police investigated a no-contact violation. One person was arrested.

Tuesday, Feb. 20

  • 6:44 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a non-injury accident.
  • 1:34 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a sexual offense. The incident is under investigation
  • 1:39 p.m. Officers were made aware of a possible weapons violation in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. An investigation was made and charges are pending.
  • 4:21 p.m. Officers took a report of a hit-and-run accident.
  • 8:27 p.m. Officers assisted Brookings County Sheriff’s Office with a assault investigation
