Sunday, Feb. 11

  • 2 a.m. Officers made an arrest for DUI.
  • 2:24 a.m. Officers assisted a Brookings County Deputy with their DUI arrest.
  • 3:33 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. The driver was cited for zero-tolerance DUI.
  • 7:41 a.m. Officers took a report of a stolenv vehicle.
  • 1:05 p.m. Brookings police officers took an individual into custody for outstanding warrants.
  • 1:39 p.m. A CS officer responded to a dog bite.
  • 6:23 p.m. Officers took a report of an animal scratch.

Monday, Feb. 12

  • 7:33 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a hit and run accident.
  • 8:50 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a non injury motor vehicle crash.
  • 12:50 p.m. A parent reported some abuse.
  • 1:43 p.m. Brookings Police responded to Walmart for intentional damage to property.
  • 3:36 p.m. Officers took a report of lost property from the 500 block of Elm Avenue.
  • 5:49 p.m. Officer took a report of possible credit card fraud / ID theft. The matter is still under investigation.
  • 6:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 Block of Second Avenue for an incident. A report was generated.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

  • 9:38 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a hit and run.
  • 2:26 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a no-contact order violation.
  • 10:12 p.m. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Ninth Street for an incident. A report was generated.
