Friday, Dec. 22
4 a.m. Officers responded to a residence for an assault that occurred. After an investigation was completed it was determined that a domestic assault had occurred. One individual was placed under arrest.
1:34 p.m. A female was arrested for a warrant at the BPD.
7:51 p.m. BPD officers received a request for a welfare check.
10:32 p.m. BPD officers were called to the intersection of Eighth Street and Sixth Avenue for a report of a non-injury accident.
11:12 p.m. Police took a report of a traffic complaint.
Saturday, Dec. 23
3:55 p.m. Officers cited a male. The same male was arrested for warrants
4:18 p.m. Officers took an informational report.
6:30 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft.
6:41 p.m. Police investigated the alleged possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
10:56 p.m. Police took a report of an alleged domestic assault.
Sunday, Dec. 24
2 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop.
6 p.m. Brookings Police arrested a male for aggravated domestic assault.

3:22 p.m. Brookings police officers responded to a welfare check. One individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
7:32 p.m. Brookings Police observed a driving violation on the 600 block of Sixth Street. A report was filed.
Wednesday, Dec. 27
1:30 a.m. Police took a hit-and-run report.
3:49 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop which resulted in a DUI arrest.
4:26 a.m. Officers responded to a residence for an unresponsive male. When officers arrived on the scene it was determined the male had already died.
5:17 p.m. Police responded to a threat at a local restaurant.
8:47 p.m. Police responded to an alleged assault. A female was arrested.
10:45 p.m. Officers took a report involving a juvenile.
Thursday, Dec. 28
7:34 a.m. Brookings police officers responded to a one-vehicle accident. The driver was arrested for DUI.
2 p.m. Social Services reported some possible abuse.
9:50 p.m. Brookings police were notified by parole agents that two males fled from Teen Challenge into Brookings. They were located and taken in on a parole detainer.
Friday Dec. 29
3:12 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 call. One male was arrested.
12:12 p.m. Brookings police officers took a report of harassment.
7 40 p.m. A male driver arrested for DUI.
8:34 p.m. Police investigated a hit-and-run accident

1:22 p.m. Police took an informational report
6:49 p.m. Law enforcement arrested a female on a warrant.
Sunday, Dec. 31
1:57 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop which resulted in a DUI arrest.
12:06 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.
Monday, Jan. 1
2:01 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop which resulted in a DUI arrest.
2:13 a.m. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested for DUI.
3:35 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a domestic assault.
11:50 a.m. BPD officers conducted a traffic stop.
5:49 p.m. Officers took a report of animal mistreatment to be forwarded to animal control.
