One major city issue will be on the Brookings City Council's to-do list at a special meeting Tuesday, June 17.
The Council will hold a work session on the Brookings Storm Water Master Plan. The review is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 311 Third Ave.
Troy Thompson, president of Ecological Resource Consultants Inc. of Evergreen, Colo., plans to present an updated storm water master plan for the City of Brookings.
The plan details are based on a comprehensive storm water study utilizing the Environmental Protection Agency's Storm Water Management Model.
Thompson's presentation will also include options for storm water improvement projects throughout Brookings. The consultant and city engineering staff will also be available to answer questions.
This meeting is open to consultants, developers, Realtors and any other residents interested in Brookings storm drainage.
