South Dakota State University student-athletes combined for a Summit League-best 145 honorees on the Winter-Spring Academic All-Summit League teams, which were announced Wednesday. To be selected to the academic all-league team, student-athletes must have compiled at least a 3.0 grade-point average in the semester of their championship event and must be a letterwinner. The Jackrabbit women's basketball team, which led all levels of women's college basketball in team GPA during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, placed 12 members on the all-academic team. Each sport featured at least five Jackrabbit student-athletes on its all-academic squad.
