• Employees get 8 percent increase over three years
BROOKINGS – The city council has signed off on a pair of agreements that will give city workers an 8 percent wage hike over the next three years.
At its session Tuesday, the council unanimously approved both the city general employees contract and its contract with the Brookings police. Both groups are represented by Teamsters Local Union No. 120.
