It’s a ‘Snow Day’ this Saturday

BROOKINGS – There's no precip predicted for Brookings on Saturday. But no matter what the weather, "It's A Snow Day!" – thanks to renowned children's entertainer Phil Baker, a former Brookings resident.

"It's a children's performance," Baker explained of his latest show. "It's very interactive. It's all brand-new, original material. A lot of kids will know my shows from the Brookings Summer Arts Festival.

"This will be something new for them. All the songs center around the concept of snow: 'It's a Snow Day!,' of course that's our theme song and it has to do with what kids do when they have a day off from school."
