Dr. Seuss comes to Brookings High

Horton the Elephant, played by Desmond Hanan, thinks about what he will do for the town of Who, whose residents are pleading for his help in the upcoming Brookings High School musical production “Seussical.”



/ In the opening number, the characters of “Seussical” set the stage for a story about Jojo, played by Allie Kantack, center in overalls, and the others Whos. The story is narrated by the Cat in the Hat, played by Carson Vanduch, center, and includes a cast of favorite Dr. Seuss characters.



The show is being directed by Gayle Klinker and musical director Denise Perry.



Brookings High School will perform “Seussical” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door: $3 for students and $5 for adults, and activity passes will apply.
