South Dakota State University celebrated 100 years of Hobo Day throughout the past week, leading up to a Saturday favorite for Jacks supporters: the annual Hobo Day parade. Many attendees noticed renewed enthusiasm for the revamped parade this weekend. Increased student efforts, how-to workshops and grants to help pay for supplies made for some of the most impressive floats that crowds have seen in years. Seen here, one of those floats passes in front of parade-goers stationed by the Campanile, an ag student group turns a piece of farm equipment into a giant jackrabbit, and one parade participant gets into his hobo character.
