City council plans for snow removal

• Short session Tuesday will also deal with new Gateway Project contract

BROOKINGS – Acknowledging that the snow season is about to begin in Brookings, the city council Tuesday is expected to approve a variety of contracts for snow removal.

Bids for annual snow removal equipment contracts were opened Oct. 2; the contracts include city rental rates for graders, loaders and dump trucks.
