I-29 Exit 133 to close for 10 days

BROOKINGS – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will close the northbound on- and off-ramps at Exit 133 on Interstate 29, near Brookings, for approximately 10 days beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11.

SDDOT Crews will be removing the existing surface and placing new concrete surfacing on the ramps, officials announced Friday.

Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route and be aware of workers and equipment in the work zone area.

Signs will be in place to alert travelers of the closures.
