Brookings Dems to open campaign office

The Brookings County Democrats will open their 2012 campaign office on Thursday, Sept. 6, with an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. The office is in the Hawley Insurance Services Building, 100 Main Ave. S.

District 7 legislative candidates Rep. Spence Hawley, Pam Merchant and Linda Brandt will be on hand to talk with attendees and answer questions. They are encouraging voters to share their ideas for the campaign.

SDSU ice cream, cookies and coffee will be served. Everyone who volunteers to help with the election will receive a free T-shirt. Any questions should be directed to Mary Perpich, chairperson, Brookings County Democrats, 697-5179.
